Rent or buy?

Opinions please.We moved area and were advised to rent. We make a decent return on our old house (£229). Our rent of £900 is slightly less then a mortgage would be on the type of house we need. Do you think its picked up enough to stop renting & sell or should we hang on? We would make about ten grand on the old house. Anyone else had the same dilemma lately? Thankyou

Are you happy there? Will you be there long enough that the costs associated with buying are worth it?

Our eldest ds starts secondary in sept so wouldn't want to keep moving
