On-Line Conveyancers? Any experience?

I hope this is the right place to post.

We've just had a reasonable offer from a lady who'd like to swap houses with us, which is great because we'll avoid a stressful chain and should get move pronto. Wine

Last time we moved we used a traditional solicitor and the conveyancing cost ££££. I've just had a quick look at on-line conveyancers and they seem much cheaper. Does any one have any experience, good or bad of these?

A little while ago we were just selling and used the online conveyancer recommeded by the Estate Agent. It was fine. Did need use of scanner/printer for documents that needed completing and returning, but the firm was efficient and effective. We paid them via the agent after the sale.

I used Simpson Millar who were pretty good. I'd use them again.

Thanks for your replies, I'll have a little look to see if we can get a cheap deal.
