Range ovens

Can anyone recommend any?

RangeMasters are probably out of our budget, but I do want to get a decent quality oven.

Can anyone recommend or advise against Stoves brand?

Thanks

I recommend Britannia. No knowledge of Stoves though.

Hi not sure if it is still the case, but when we ordered our kitchen from Wickes last year they were doing big (proper) discounts on Rangemasters that made them relatively affordable. We got the Professional Plus 90cm Induction cooker. I love it - the skinny oven heats to 200C in about seven minutes and holds loads. The roll-out grill is brilliant. The hob is a doddle to clean. Downsides are the controls are plastiky and you need good pans the right size for the hob.

Thanks Spotty - the Britannia ones seem to only have 2 compartments in the 90cm model, and I've set my heart on a separate grill, but thankyou for the recommendation.

Child - unfortunately, that model is £1600 at the moment :( I would love a Rangemasters, but when there are others for £1kish, it seems such a massive price difference (and I've gone over budget on everything for the kitchen!)

Separate grill is worth holding out for, definitely. I never used the grill when it was part of the oven in out old kitchen and now use it several times a week.

try Leisure, there part of the Rangemaster, AGA group but a little less in cost as they doesn't carry the Rangemaster logo
