Sofa recommendations

just that really - has anyone got a great sofa that they just have to tell me about?? I had decided on an Ikea Ektorp (like I currently have) but I don't like any of the covers and I'd quite like something different really

I'm not too fussy about what kind but it has to be comfortable (and preferably with washable covers and not those back cushions that look like throw cushions.

Any recommendations of sofas or places that you've bought a good quality sofa would be greatly appreciated!!
TIA!

Just bought one from John Lewis and we love it! We spent ages looking and feeling very depressed with all the dfs type places. For a little but more money we have ended up with a great sofa. It was from their options range. Good luck!

For real quality I would go to Wesley Barrell.

Multi-york are pretty good too.

Sofasofa get pretty good reviews on here, at prices similar to Ikea's.

For more money, I'd recommend Sofa Workshop.

By the way - there is a company called Bemz which makes new covers for Ikea sofas, in a large range of fabrics. Obviously though that is extra ££ on top of buying the sofa.

ooh thanks everyone - that has given me loads of things to look at!

I really like sofa workshop but they won't deliver to N'Ireland Sad (sorry forgot to say I wasn't mainland!)

For a modern sofa check out Camerich on St John Street Islington, they're were great. Very helpful and friendly. Our sofa is very comfy and the fabric has survived 2 dogs, cats and a toddler! Still looks brand new after a year of heavy duty family life!
