What other colours are there in your kitchen?

I like the aubergine or black toaster the best. I wouldn't try to match the kettle as I don't think you will find a colour similar enough, so I would go with an opposite colour to comliment and contrast.

I agree about a contrast. I like the turquoise one.

Hmmm.... The kitchen is off white units, oak worktop, oak floor. Walls are white tiles and these two colours from dulux

I love the turquoise too but fear it may not fit in?

Why wouldn't it fit in? Everything is very neutral so you really could go with any colour. Do you have any patterns or colours in art or fabric in the room that might restrict you? If not then go with the turquoise!

Just the olive green wall. Suppose..... Hmm maybe I should be daring

I don't think the turquoise would look odd with the walls, but IMHO the aubergine would compliment the olive best.

Nice toaster whichever colour you decide - I have toastr envy [bugrin] my stainless steel 10 yr old one refuses to die to let me get a new pretty one

The bottom blue one

Vickles · 06/04/2012 18:01

I thought the upper blue one first.... then, I saw your Overtly Olive paint... and then changed my mind... go with the off white one.
Purely... because a toaster is going to last a long time, and the top blue toaster colour is quite brave... and you might go off it after a while... and at over £50 a toaster (great price though) - I would stick with same colour as your kettle.... and if you want to insert a bright colour into your kitchen.. use thinks like mugs (if they're on show) , teatowels, tea/coffee/sugar cannisters and things like that.

I love the Overtly Olive paint.. I had it in our last house. Bloody love it!!!
