Getting ready for agents re-valuation and photos...

Any tips?
Agent visited us in Jan, kitchen, bathroom and floors were not finished. Afebt said "as is, £125k"
Since then everything's done including painting almost throughout so the valuation on Tuesday should reflect this. Agent thinks "£139k"

So, the garden has loads of weeds in front and back and the conservatory is full of boxes. Which is more important to tidy up for pictures?

Where do you put all your stuff???

Thanks!

I would say do both!

Do you have a garage or loft for the boxes?

GeetTallBird · 01/04/2012 20:30

Have a loft, yes...think that's a selling point? Should that be tidy?

No - shove the "stuff" in it. Reasonably tidily though as you can guarantee someone will want to stick their head up there to see the size.

That reminds me of childbirth....yes I'll whack the stuff up there.
Weeding at midnight it is then!

If you can't get it all done, you can always get them to use your own photos, then you can take them whenever you like. Sometimes that is better, especially if the estate agent can only come round on a cloudy dark day for example. You want pictures when it is sunny, as everything looks better when it is sunny!
