Paint pads

I'm planning to paint my DD's room in the next few weeks. I've used a roller in the past, but I quite like the look of paint pads. Has anyone used one, and what are the pros and cons?

Pro's -very quick, easier to clean than a roller

Cons- Patchy Mc Patch

I hate them. I really dislike the finish they give and prefer the slightly bubbly look of a roller.

I just bin the roller sleeve rather than faff about washing it.
