loft conversion

Sorry if this has been done to death but we've been quoted between £35 and 40k for a loft conversion in the south east. It would give us 2 medium sized bedrooms and a small bathroom. It would apparently be quite straight forward with easy access. Does this sound about right? How much have people paid for loft conversions if you don't mind sharing this!

We're in Bromley and paid about £33k for our loft conversion 2 years ago.

Sounds reasonable. We had loft done (2 large bed/1 ensuite) for £51,000 not including VAT and this was done about 5 years ago. South east too.

Paid 58K plus VAT in 2006
Big rooms though and extras like boiler

Sounds spot on to me. I have had 2 loft conversions from different companies since 2005 ( different houses!) and both were about that (SW London). Don't forget to budget for party wall, building control, shower/loo etc, flooring and decoration, as they're not usually included and can really add to the total.

Agree sounds right to me having just done ours in sw london.
