Feedback from viewings

Our house has been on the market for a few weeks, and we have about 10 viewings, plus a couple of second viewings and even an offer. Out of all those viewings, only about half have left feedback - is this normal? I spend hours making the house look good, getting the children looked after and they can't even be bothered to say what they didn't like about it.

Have those of you who are selling have the same the experiencing and do those of you who are buying avoid leaving feedback?

Reading that back I seem like such a moaner and I am!!

When we bought our house (first timers), we weren't 100% sure what we were looking for. Although we were pretty sure we wanted 3 bedrooms and outdoor space, we still looked at 2-beds and places with no garden - if one of them had been right anyway we would have gone for it. In fact, we very nearly did buy a gorgeous 2bed except that a bargain 3 bed came up. When asked for feedback, we were truthful in saying 'sorry, not enough bedrooms' or 'sorry, no garden' and I didn't realise how annoying this must have been to vendors. We looked around in good faith though and some places just weren't good enough to make up for what we weren't getting IYSWIM.

Also, we were put off 2 places by an atrocious estate agent but could hardly say that!

Not feeling quite so irrational now and have read your comments which make sense, especially about a house "just not being right" but not being able to verbalise this to the EA.

Have also found out that our EA has 200 houses listed with them so for them to get non-forthcoming feedback on our place for every viewing is most likely asking too much.
