Removals firm - Liverpool/Merseyside

Has anybody used a removals company in Liverpool/Merseyside that they'd recommend? We've got a few quotes but would prefer someone tried and tested. We'd consider a national company too but our quote from Pickfords is v expensive in comparison. Thanks

I used Britannia, think they're national. Very good but probably expensive too.

we used the site below moving from south west to north west, we only had a a lwb van load but the sites like ebay.
you write down what's needed to be moved and people will quote you, and shows there feedback, insurances to cover you etc.

Hi, I used pickfords to move from Liverpool to Surrey (3yrs ago). I thought they were competitive - you can ask them to price match. The guys who loaded it were really friendly - tidied any mess left after and even helped removed a previous tenants cooker that had been left. I think the tea / biscuits and some sandwiches at the end helped - but I will be using them again.

mid cheshire removals is really good (based Windsford) v competative on storage etc

DH had an office move done by Roy Trevor in Warrington, and said that they were good. They also do domestic and international removals.
