Does anyone know where I can get naice furniture that looks like it came from Aspace, but without paying Aspace prices?

I'm looking for a bookcase like this for dd's bedroom but there's no way I'm going to pay nearly 300 nicker for it

Scour charity shops for something similar and paint it white. Bob's your uncle.

Or auctions. I get a lot of my furniture from auctions.

Thing is I really don't have much chance to do that sort of thing... I was hoping to buy something that didn't need any thing more than a bit of self assembly.

Next? Not bad for the price or Ikea - if you are careful - some of their ranges are better than others.

If you want good quality 'naice' furniture you either have to put in time scouring charity shops/auctions/ebay etc or you have to be willing to pay the price.

That bookcase you linked to is quite simple though, I bet you could find something very similar on Ebay or gumtree secondhand?

he's only got a few but from what i see just needs to make it taller and sure he would do it.
we had a bespoke size for the toy box to go over a rug.
we also designed what we wanted, I see now he has used it in his pics.
It is solid wood with a good paint finish. we've had ours about 12mnths now and sit on it for the twins bed time bottle and no marks on the paint or anything.
