Climbing frame/swings etc for garden

Can anyone recommend a sort of wooden modular thing that we can add to over time, good quality but not astronomically expensive? Would like to end up with a climbing frame with a slide and a swing, but probably can't afford to buy it all at once. Any brand/shop recommendations appreciated.

We have a Plum double swing which we are very happy with quality wise and they do a good range of climbing frames with bits you can add on. I think TP is OK too but not had any personal experience of it and when I saw an item in store it didn't look quite as sturdy as the Plum products. Check out ELC for products and reviews.

Are you anywhere near Newbury? This is a great place to visit for garden toy inspiration.

We have a rainbow playsystem which is amazing and built to last until the grandchildren arrive

Costco have something similar in stock at the moment but I'd recommend rainbow to anyone £££ but worth it

Thanks for recommendations. Nowhere near Newbury, sadly. The Plum stuff is about a quarter of the price of some of the equivalent things I've seen! I will check out the others too.

We have the TP stuff, its very sturdy but a bugger to build, had to re drill all the pilot holes not a problem for most people but my DP is allergic to DIY and power tools bring him out in a cold sweat Grin.

Got there in the end though and I'm happy with them. Shop around as the price for all of this varies widely.

just a thought but there is a fair market for climbing frames on ebay - we got a metal - but good quality set - for about 40 pounds - would have cost hundreds new
