I'm looking into replacing ours, not because theres anything that wrong with them per se, but because over time the noise & type of noise out in the street is becoming more & more of a problem & hoping new windows hopefully could help ??
We currently have those sealed double glazed units, but they are probably pretty old - we've been here over 13 year & they predate us by quite a while, so I expect theres been improvements to these sort of windows for both sound & heat insulation in more recent years.
Can anyone recommend a type of window that has proved to be very good for sound insulation
