EPC rating of 43 - will this be very cold?

Viewing a house with an EPC of 43 and it has single glazing only? Will this be very cold or have you bought a house with this rating and found it's ok. I know it's generally an indicator of energy efficiency but this also correlates to some degree with warmth. Thanks.

I think I'd ask to see the gas/elec/oil bils to see how cold it gets. I don't think EPCs are worth the paper they are written on frankly.
