Hallway inspiration needed... Dulux or Crown paint ideas please.

My lounge is painted in:-

I was thinking of another grey in the hallway (wooden floor, mirror and bright spotlights.. and cream carpet up the stairs).....

We had this paint in the old house:-

But as much as I love grey, maybe it's too much?

It's currently white, and is very grubby (bought house last summer).

Should I go for something more safe?

Sniff,,, no takers... Is it because I'm not using Farrow and Ball paint??? Have gone ahead with Dulux's Wipeable Perfectly Taupe....x
