Best racking to organise garage?

mrsflower · 06/03/2012 20:01

I want to get the garage organised. The usual stuff is out there; DH's mountain bike stuff, paint, decorating stuff, tools and some of my crafty bits and pieces.

Can anyone recommend some racking or anything else that would be good?

Thanks a lot

We've got some good plastic shelves from B&Q , v solid & holds loads.

Am up for bike ideas though.

I bought some boltless racking from Amazon for the cellar. It's very robust although a little tricky to assemble.

Our bikes (well, two of them) are on the wall, hung on a Raleigh Wall Rack.

If you have several bikes these racks are really good

www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001XURAJ0/ref=asc_df_B001XURAJ06867883?smid=A3GZMSVZ6EVCWA&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B001XURAJ0

and you can fit a shelf above for helmets and other bike bits and bobs.

I got some 6-footr high black plastic shelving units from B&Q

I later saw something similar, cheaper, at Aldi on one of their "special offers" days.

or it might have been this one they have several that look the same on the web but are different sizes and prices

So you need to check the dimensions before choosing.

this one has quite small shelves

this one is bigger

this one is not very wide
