Study storage

I need some help deciding on a storage system for our study.

It needs to store our paperwork (in boxes and lever arch files) and the children's art and craft stuff and board games (loads of them!).I'd also like to have space to have keepsake boxes for all their masterpieces etc.

The room is about 9ft by 6ft 6 and Id like the stoarge to go along the whole of one of the long walls. We already have a desk against a short wall. I don't mind what sort of style but think I want a mixture of closed and open storage.

I quite like the Ikea stuva and the gltc northcote and was wondering if anyone has these and like them or could recommend something else?

I think IKEA Expedit is great for that kind of storage and you can put door fronts and shelves in it to give hidden storage, as well as baskets.
Loads of pics on flickr etc for inspiration.

I'd second the Expedit units, we have a few white ones in our playroom but they'd work equally well in a study. Cheap as chips but sturdy and can be personalised with all of the baskets & plastic/fabric boxes.

Thanks will have a look at that too

Another vote for the expedit units. We've got them down one side of our study and we've also built a desk from them (2 units + desk top = desk with shelves). Works really well & very flexible - can change them around easily, add boxes etc.
