Searching for a house...

We are looking for a new house. Our search area is quite big, so lots of different possible estate agents and we're currently living abroad - just to make it a little harder!

If I keep an eye on Rightmove and Primelocation will everything tend to show up, or do some estate agents not list/not list everything on those?

Any recommendations on other sites worth checking? Or is it a matter of ploughing through individual agents?

Many thanks.

Rightmove is a good place to start, but get registered with local agents too. The good ones will call you about properties before they get listed online (our flat sold in three days, never made it anywhere near Rightmove)

Out of interest, how will you view properties if you're overseas?

Thanks!
Ummm yes, the viewing property thing is going to be a bit of a mare...fortunately we are only in France so not insurmountable to do viewing trips back. Thank heaven for the channel tunnel! Worst comes to worst we'll just have to rent when we get back for a bit, would rather avoid extra school move for dc though, and of course another set of removal costs....
