I am in East London, and need carpet within the next couple of days. Where can I get some in a neutral beige colour?
Must be cheap, 70 sq metres, max to spend is £950, to include underlay

I've always gone to Bellegrove Carpets in Welling for carpet (it's SE London rather than E though). Small independent shop where the guy in the shop comes and fits. Great service and cheaper than the chains. Always fitted pretty quickly although maybe not a couple of days - usually more like 3-4 working days. You could phone him and ask what he's got for that price maybe? 0208 3039650

East London? Lambourne Carpets. A small private warehouse, mostly does trade supplies so has no flashy showroom, but also sells retail and has fitters. Usually has a good range of end-of-rolls remaining after commercial jobs.

Chingford way. In the book.

I calculate that as about £13/m

A decent 80/20, you say????

Just my opinion but £13/m very unlikely to happen! And I live in cheapest, darkest Wales Grin

LOL, sorry for the typo Grin..£1950
Managed to get the carpet, underlay and laying for £1800. So feel quite pleased with myself
