what tiles for my bathroom?

hi,

DH and I are planning to redo our bathroom in the next few weeks/months and are struggling to find a style of tile that we both like.

our bathroom is 5ft9 x 8ft9 and i will put a pic on for layout in a minute. we have no window or natural light in the room so wouldnt want anything too dark and similarly not white as thats what we already have.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated (i realise this is not the most exciting of topics)

When I was house hunting i saw a stunning bathroom, 10% gold, 20% black and 70% Ivory. Not everyone's taste I know, it was not something I would have thought of, it looked extraordinary though.

We are doing our bathroom shortly. My house is very white so want something different in the bathroom. I am thinking either aqua/green/grey but can't find tiles I really like. Kind of like these here not so the bamboo ones up the top. I have a pinterest bathroom folder that I keep adding photos to until I find inspiration.

newhouse sounds striking! my DBrother has just done his bathroom black and white and is very much the "you copied" variety so i would have to steer clear of that variation of colours...

i like these from that website! similar to what i have been looking at but DH isnt convinced

The natural tiles are very nice. I love the green/grey with the gold trim and off White looks very stylish.

i may have to work on DH for the natural stone look...

something completely different to your choice but I think I may go with these blue tiles here going to topps tiles to have a look tomorrow.

oo they are a lovely colour icapture im a bit scared of using colour in my bathroom as it is so teeny... we have sage green glass tiles as a trim in our current bathroom and i was thinking about using a colour again but i wouldnt know where to start...

i love these may be a little dark though..

they might be a bit dark on a bathroom wall although I love slate especially floor, have it in my downstairs loo.

I think I like your first choice the most.

my sister agrees that they are a bit dark...they are so pretty though
