and they'll do a kitchen design for you, or does the builder have to do it?

We have some howden units but are planning to knock down a wall so will need to move units around, buy new ones etc.

As far as I'm aware you can just go inSmile

Yes but will they sit down with you and design where cabinets should go? In the way they used to at MFI?

I know they have kitchen designers but not sure if they sit and design it on the spot or measure up then discuss options. Maybe someone who knows a bit more will be along soonSmile

We had a designer come out from Howdens but we had to do it through a fitter that already had an account with them. So he came and had a look and measure, then Howdens designer came out and talked through what we wanted and then send plans/quote to the fitter who then added on fitting costs and passed onto us.
Not sure if they do it in store or not though - sorry.

I wouldn't think so. I'm sure they only deal with trades.

They wouldnt even sell my mum a light bulb for a fitting her kitchen fitter bought because she wasn't trade even though you couldn't buy the bulb anywhere else

They came out and designed ours and then we bought trough builders trade account.

I went in and they recommended a plumber/kitchen designer.it seems they only deal with trade. Have popped in a couple of times since, mentioned said plumber and bought a couple of extra bits. Their customer service is excellent,I thought my cupboard door was peeling, took it off, took it to them. Then discovered plumber hadn't removed protective cling film. They gave me a spray and cloth to buff the doors for inconvenience caused.
