What is it like to live in Worthing?

Hi,

We are currently living in London with our 15 month old son. We have been thinking of moving to Worthing. What is it like living there with small children?

My husbands mum lives there so we have been there quite a lot and like the town. Are there any good toddler groups, nurseries around?

Many Thanks

Anna

Hi, we moved here from London last summer and are loving it!

Our kids are school aged, but the beach and town is full of littler ones. The estate agent said that Worthing had the fastest growing population of families on the south coast - don't know where he got that figure from, but there certainly are a lot about!

Sorry can't help with info about nurseries or toddler groups, hopefully somebody with younger DCs will be able to. It is a lovely seaside town, with all the amenities you'd want, cheap housing, the beach (sandy when the tide goes out) and the downs....and no need to plan an hour's tube trip to get places!
