Hi!
I'm in the middle of my extension/new kitchen and we've opted not to get the Howdens appliances. Can anyone recommend somewhere reasonable to go for built it appliances?
Many thanks

Definitely appliances online. Great prices and delivery( I ordered sat 4pm and built in dishwasher arrived sun 5pm). Fantastic service too from both customer service ( who call to confirm all ok) to the delivery men. I won't look anywhere else now:)

I got all my integrated appliances (cooker hood, double oven, dishwasher, hob) from BEMCO. They are some kind of electrical manufacturer but have a domestic appliance division with very good prices on most of the main brands. Didn't find better prices even with the online sites. For non-integrated appliances (washing machine, tumble drier and fridge freezer) I found the model I wanted and then just searched online for the best price at the time. Hope that helps!

find what you want online, print off a list of items and prices, take to your nearest large-ish independent electrical retailer. They will beat your online list. Promise.

I've been looking round for some appliances too & find that Boots Electrical are very reasopnable & cheaper than Currys/Comet etc. Plus you get points on your Boots Advantage card.

Read reviews and decide what model you want then search the Internet for the best price and as others say try your local independents. I have just bought a tall freezer, fridge freezer and dishwasher all from different places to get the bt prices. Appliances online were one of them and they were good to deal with.

I got all mine from AppliancesOnline - very happy.

I got mine from Appliance House but notasausage is right. Type the model code into google shopping and see who is selling it and for the best price.

I bought a cooker hood, gas hob & double built in oven from Boots Electrical. Foudn their prices very very resonable, got point on my Advantage Card (to spend at Christmas!) and the delivery chaps put them where I wanted.

I did have a sport of bother with the gas hob as the website review said it included jest for the LPG but theye weren't included - so I called them & they got BEKO to send me some for free.

I'm intend on going back to Boots for a fridge freezer & washing machine in teh next few weeks.

You need to decide on exactly what you want and then monitor prices online - they do vary from week to week. I bought my Neff double oven & flexinduction hob from Currys when they had 20% off a minimum spend. A Neff wok burner, CDA extractor hood and Caple wine chiller from kitchenappliancecentre. Franke sink from B&Q during a 20% off period. Franke tap & boiling water tap from kitchensinksandtaps. I am planning on buying my fridgefreeezer from applianceonline - my 1st choice got discontinued before I was ready/had the space for storage. So, shop around...
