Paint advise please

I'm renting privately and am moving out shortly so I need to paint here and there, but I'm a bit confused about all the different types of interior paint
The doors, door frames and skirting boards are matt but feel smooth to the touch, what kind of paint should I buy please?

might be eggshell, or satinwood.

IMO eggshell looks like undercoat, and you can write on it with a pencil.

If you're tidying up, Crown Solo is probably the best one-coat, and is available in Satin.

Satin wood for the paint work - doors, frames and skirting. Good news its easier to slap on apply than gloss. You can get it anywhere, about £20 a tin

so satin (or satinwood) isn't really shiny then? I like the idea of how easy it is to "apply" lol

No it has a matt finish and doesn't yellow as quickly as gloss. I would go with satinwood over egg shell, its a much nicer finish - and I really can't see your LL objecting to you putting a better finish on! It is deffinitly matt though!
