?Hi there! Does anyone know someone who can make built-in wardrobes? I have gone through a nightmare couple of years ago trying to get my library done, spent £4000 and can say it was just not worth it?

There are plenty of companies on Google, but who knows how reliable they are???

?I had my bedroom wardrobe and TV unit done 3 months ago and love them! I found a company through Google which gave me a very good price compared to all the others. Initially, I was rather apprehensive to accept their quote as it was almost 50% less and I always thought you get what you pay for. However, they were highly professional and polite, emailed me detailed designs and references with phone numbers so I decided to go forward. Now I cannot even imagine I could have been done better. They finished everything IN JUST ONE DAY and left the site clean and tidy. I am thinking of ordering a new dressing table from them; hopefully they will give me the same good price tooJ

Their website is www.londonfurnitureltd.co.uk.?

Depends where you are. I know a very good joiner in south London who does these.

Rhubarb, could you pm me the details of the joiner you know please? I am in S London and looking into getting fitted wardrobes. Can anybody tell me how much these tend to cost? I want five solid wood, painted doors, hangin rails in each with a couple of shelves too. Probably shaker style doors or similar. I have no idea how much to expect to pay. thanks.

I would be a little sceptical of thoise who only post recomendations without previus posting history as this could be used by companies to promote their own product.

(Particularly if it looks like it's been cut and pasted from elsewhere complete with speech marks)

My other 'alf if you're in the north west.

I am in west London. a friend of a friend did mine on a recommendation. He took ages to do it but I have exactly what I wanted and the finish is fantastic ( I wanted something which for some reason seemed to be extremely complicated but to me seemed simple - good job I am not a joiner Grin). If you are close to me PM me.
