Please help me design my wall units!

I just uploaded our plan onto my profile. The sink will be on the wall where the window is (you can barely see the washing machine next to it). Anyhow- there is an ikea slimline dishwasher next to the hob. Units will be ramsjo white (painted birch). I am not sure what to do with the wall units....

Does the glass cabinet on left of extractor look weird? Should I do open shelves instead? Should I leave it as a solid cabinet? Should I have more cabinets? Less? Argh! I can't do this kitchen planning stuff!

Your help would be eternally appreciated, thank you thank you thank you

Oh, can see it now. Hmm, well, I think if you are to stick to cabinets next to hood, they might look better along the whole wall. Looks a bit awkward with just one. I would consider just open shelves though. Lots of wall cupboards are quite oppressive, I think.

On the wall at right angles to the cooker, what is the big door? Is it a larder cupboard or a door to another room? If it's a larder unit, I'm not sure it'd work in the middle of a run like that. Could you fit it to the end of the run of units on the wall with the window?

What will you keep in that glassdoor wall cabinet? I agree it looks a bit funny stuck there on its own but maybe the window limits your options for adding another next to it? Open shelves look good but aren't practical for all things.

Could you put a floorplan up? It might be easier to work it out from that.

Hmmm...... Might get a larger cupboard.... Also thinking of getting the shorter wall units? At the moment they are 90cm ones? Thanks everyone
