Hydrotherapy/jacuzzi baths

I love the idea of jacuzzi baths but hate how all the jets spoil the look of the bath. Has anyone got one and love it or regret buying it? Can I have your honest views on whether they look naff? We are in the process of extending and renovating the whole house and am completely stumped on this one.

Any links to some that are more aesthetically pleasing gratefully accepted!!

I think they're naff. Sorry. We stayed in a holiday let with one - it seemed like a massive faff with lots of special cleaning and bath products needed.

There's one in the house we've just moved in to. I won't be replacing it when we do the bathroom. It's great once in a blue moon when you're really achy, but it is a faff to clean and it's pretty noisy when it's going, so not really condusive to a relaxing soak.

Don't be sorry peg - that's my view entirely. If there was some sort of bath with jets that are completely hidden then I would definately go for one, it's just that they look so blooming horrible!

I hadn't considered the noise or cleaning factors msrinky!

I've never had one or been in one but my friend had one and raved about it so I started considering them. My only experience is the jacuzzi in the swimming pool but have no idea whether a jacuzzi bath would even be the same!

Hmm, I think my first instincts about them were right. It's just when you are doing a whole house from scratch and there are so many options it all gets confusing!
