Conservatories - possible to plasterboard the inside walls?

We are planning a conservatory for the back of our house. Basic structure, probably PVC, 2 side walls (which are directly next to tall fences both sides) and glazed front to it.

There's no point having glass in the side walls as they are a couple of inches from fences on both sides, so we're looking at having blank panels - I'm wondering if it's possible to plasterboard the panels to insulate the walls a bit more and to make it look more like a room..

We plastered the inside of ours with no problems to make it look more like a room. It shouldn't be a problem at all

You could build solids walls all the way up instead of low side walls

Unfortunately we can't build brick walls at the side due to lack of decent foundations - we dn't have the funds to rip up the existing ones and re do them. We have to do the PVC blank panels for the sides.

Oops sorry I misread your post, we have brick walls. Blame sleep deprivation and house buying stress. Hope you can get it sorted.

conservatories are prone to condensation, and plasterboard will not stand up to damp. Have a look at insulated drylining panels such as Kingspan Kooltherm K18.

Thanks PigletJohn - the condensation issue wouldn't have occured to me. I'll have a look at those panels. :)
