I've got this idea to fit castors to the legs of our kitchen table...I want to be able to move it around our kitchen depending on what we are doing etc has anyone done this before? Where did you buy the castors? Any tips?

any half decent hardware outlet ,ensure tableleg end is of "robust material and has the necessary "square" end dimention to accept a fixing, and ensure the castor goes in "square"

Ikea is always good for castors and things things like this.
But also look at Martha Stewart 's website. She recommends adding castors to a dining table but readers reviews were not positive...

I would worry about using the sort of furniture caster that has a screw or socket into the end of the leg, because it might split or break with the sideways force.

The sort of larger trolley wheel that bolts through the leg and has a large rubber tyre would be stronger, but give a more industrial look.
