kitchens merging into conservatries

We're thinking of having a conservatory built and knocking down the wall inbetween creating a large kitchen that runs into the conservatory. Has anyone already got this idea? I just wondered how it worked.. is there a lot of condensation? Is it cold? and do you eat out there... lots of questions...Thanks

I have one like this, which I inherited from the previous owners. It's lovely in summer but the cold comes straight through in winter.

My understanding is that Building Regs now state you have to have a door between a conservatory and the main house so you may not be able to do this - unless you add an orangery-type extension with a proper roof etc instead, I guess.
