Fairy lights when it's not Christmas...

So I love the look that Fairy lights give.
But I am not Linda Barker. I promise.
There must be another lighting "scheme" that gives a similar effect without having your Christmas decs up all year round, isn't there?
TIA

I still have my pre-lit twigs (yes stuck in a vase with pebbles in) and I think they look bloody great. Grin

Candles do it for me. I have some tall ones in front of a bevelled mirror on the mantlepiece with give the room a nice twinkle :-) I have some of the philips rechargable LED ones which are ok for everyday use and are cheap as chips now.

I know what you mean though - I do miss the sparkle of the Christmas decs

Man Alive.

You need Cable and Cotton, they
rock.

I have 2 sets and am eyeing up my 3rd.

Our fairy lights are still up because we all loved them. There are ancient coloured ones which look like old fashioned sweets in a big sweet jar too.

They are cheerful.

Ha ha ha

Last week at bookclub I raised the question of fairy lights on our tree by the front door.....I have always wanted them but something has stopped me......"naff or not?"....

...lots of too-ing and froo-ing until a mate nailed it....".if you are asking the question to lots of people, deep down, you know the answer is no!"

Sorry! Grin
