On the hunt for specific wallpaper

I'm looking for this wallpaper
it's got butterflies on that are closer together at the bottom. Googling butterfly wallpaper hasn't helped, nor a trawl through Wallpaper Direct online.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Nope sorry but what an amazing house Envy

Zoidberg · 18/01/2012 12:32

I know, equally Envy as it's not mine, saw it on Right Move where I sometimes look for decorating ideas when I'm too tight broke to buy a housey magazine.

It's probably from a very high end place judging by the rest of the house.

Could you perhaps ask the people were it was from ?

oohermrs · 18/01/2012 12:48

Don't know if they have it but try looking on wallpaperking.co.uk as they do unusual not run of the mill wallpaper.

Justonecheese · 18/01/2012 12:52

Good one Zoidberg! Those home mags can get a bit pricey.....

Zoidberg · 18/01/2012 12:59

Grin though I do get a few every month secondhand from my Mum, some are just not for me - Period Homes / Country Living.

Thanks oohermrs, they don't have it though.

Ooh no, it's all for me, or (if feeling flush, so never) Elle decoration, or, if in need of a good laugh at the accompanying write ups, 25 Beautiful Homes...

Good luck on your wallpaper quest and sorry I have not been more useful

Justonecheese · 18/01/2012 13:12

Should have read "it's all Styleathome for me"

mistressploppy · 18/01/2012 13:23

Can't help with the wallpaper (it is gorgeous btw) but quick hijack - how do you find nicely decorated properties to perv at on Right Move? Is there a trick or do you just trawl through?

oohermrs · 18/01/2012 13:33

I'd probably be cheeky and send the estate agent an email asking him to forward it to the owners asking them where they got it from. House is sold so you could of being a potential buyer!! My favourite interiors website is housetohome.co.uk full of inspiring ideas.

AgnesBligg · 18/01/2012 20:23

this one?

Zoidberg · 18/01/2012 21:12

mistressploppy, I just trawl through local areas occasionally, the Victorian ones here often have good decor.

Agnes - thanks a lot, I did see that one, I am being v fussy though and that's a wee bit colourful and what I liked about the one in the house is the way it was all dense at the bottom.

I may have found one with birds though that will do, it's for a wall with a window on to the garden so want something "transitional" (poncy, me?).

You could try asking on the LivingEtc forum here - I recently asked about a very elusive pendant light I'd seen somewhere but couldn't find anywhere online and within two days someone had traced it for me Grin

Hi, I think I know which paper it is, try looking at the Harlequin Arboreta paper. It looks quite pricey though. They have it in a number of different colours. Hope that helps

AgnesBligg · 23/01/2012 07:56

Missy the butterfly Harlequin paper is so pretty Smile. I have filed away for future use.

ninedragons · 23/01/2012 12:20

Is Nina Campbell's Farfalla close enough?

Agapanthii · 23/01/2012 14:24

I was just about to say NC's Farfalla too - a good match I'd say

mistressploppy · 23/01/2012 19:52

But none of these (lovely) butterfly wallpapers do the thing where there are more at the bottom than at the top.

Dammit, now I want the wallpaper too Angry Grin

7to25 · 24/01/2012 07:49

This is a bit like a "Daphne" guess in Eggheads, but I think that paper is American, although I don't know why.

londonlottie · 24/01/2012 08:28

It's not the wallpaper, but I did find this by Christian Lacroix which does the cascading thingie....

Ixia · 03/02/2012 00:23

I think it's graham and brown, but discontinued. Picture in link

I cannot see the picture of your wallpaper unfortunately, but try the website wwww.wallpaper-uk.com as they have some totally fabulous and unusual wallpapers
