Anyone live near a high speed train?

Considering a few options to buy. HS2 will affect two of them.
Anyone living with or near trains? What is the noise really like?

Anyone living on possible HS2 route and
looked at the noise it could bring? Have you sold?

We have recently bought near the HS2 route xmyboys, are you still interested?

I live on the main eastcoast line (Edinburgh-London) and we don't even notice the trains any more.

When we first moved in I was a bit worried, and we did notice the noise for a few weeks but then it just didn't bother us anymore. We are very close too, you can see the people in the carriages from our garden
