Wonderful MN has recommended carpet for rental property but still need help with colour and brand.
Please help!
I have entry way, stairs, hallway, reception and three bedrooms. Tiles already in bathroom and kitchen which don't need replacing.
I need value for money and something that will last the distance.
Thanks

Whatever you do don't pick cream - it looks nice but it's a bloody nightmare. Wouldn't wood floors be better?

If you have all the same colour it may work out cheaper if they can use the roll ends ect in difffernt areas also something with a fleck in or hether as they call it will last better not showing as many marks.

In our rental I put a mushroom ish colour and is wearing well with tenants happy.

First floor flat so think floorboards might be sound issue?

Biscuity colour?... I just bought kingsmead Heather carpet in moccasin. Nicely neutral but will take dirt.

polypropylene carpet is stain resistant, and the modern ones are supposed to wear well (older synthetic carpets used to suffer pile-flattening).

I got some in Heather Twist which seems OK so far. It was quite a bit cheaper than the 80/20 Wilton I bought for the other rooms but feels as thick.

We have this in Ultra Sandalwood and it's super practical, wears brilliantly, easy clean and is a nice colour. Had it in a rental prior to buying off plan and chose it for here too and very pleased with it with 2 DC's under 5!!
