Struggling with bathroom paint colour

Hi

My bathroom is predominantly tiled, in white but with a small bottle green motif on the odd tile here and there. I don't much like it but am not in a position to re-tile the whole thing right now.

I have replaced all pine accessories with white and now need to decide what colour to paint it, in order to bring it up to date.

Any ideas, what on earth will go with bottle green?

I'd stick with a creamy neutral colour for large painted areas and then accessorise sparingly with more of the same green, and maybe introduce a carefully-chosen shade of pink (something floral-looking) to contrast with it

Thanks Fringe, it's a sort of mushroomy/grey atm and it looks horrid!

Trouble is, it's quite a large room and I don't want it to look bland either.

I can't seem to find the inspiration i need.

People are going to starting thinking I work for this website if I keep on recommending it at the rate I have been lately, but... pinterest.com - brilliant for home decorating inspiration!

Maybe a mossy/sagey green?

I think I'd choose a complimentary green - perhaps something in a sage sort of region? I like my bathroom to have a warm calm feel, so I'd be looking for something to downplay all the white (I don't like 'pure' white very much - too clinical). Is it a really dark green - this colour set seems to have bottle green as almost black www.e-paint.co.uk/RAL_Colourchart.asp

Thanks again Fringe - I will take a look.

I like a Dulux colour called Overtly Olive but not sure it would work.

And yes, the dark green tiles are almost black they're so dark.
