Doors for disabled access

We are going to build an extension for my recently disabled DH and are not sure about what sort of doors to use. We have room for two pocket doors but the external door and one of the internal doors can't be pocket, so we will have to use something else. He uses a zimmer frame and a power chair and finds opening an ordinary door towards him very difficult. Anyone there with any experience of this?

Councils sometimes put in automatic doors if needed.

ASDA linik here , you may be able to find more info on that website.
