Need inspiration for my living room......

Morning!

I'm looking to decorate my living room next year, and I'm after some inspiration. Firstly I'm not sure what colour combo to go for, I was thinking brown and torquoise but I'm not sure....

What is in at the moment? I'm rubbish at this kind of thing.....

Any sites for inspiration ideas that can be recommended?

Take a look at this website, always good for inspiration. I always flick through housey magazines too.

Other place, could be dulux, farrow & ball websites, etc to get an idea of colours, etc.

Blue, cobalt blue, turquoise seem to be the "in" colours of the moment... they are the new green

I really like them, and I think they work especially well if you have wooden floors.

I wouldn't match it with brown, but mainly because I really don't like it as a colour... I'd probably mix them with soft greys, which is quite a safe choice, but allows you to throw other colours in the ix if you wish so...

Thanks for that Franca.. we're liking the look of the charcoal type sofas, so we'll have a mooch and see what colours best suit.... tis hard all this designing malarky isn't it????
