Does 10L extra capacity in an oven make that much difference? Talk to me about Miele and Neff single ovens

I'm having a dilemma! We have space for an under counter single oven in our new kitchen. There is a single Miele oven which has a net capacity of 66L inside (the surround is very thin, although only supplied with one shelf). The Neff oven I'm looking at has c.55L. The price difference, if I shop carefully online is about £150 more for the Miele.

I have little idea if this capacity difference will be worth it. Any thoughts?

Looking at the "Which" best-buy list for single, built under ovens, it has several Neff ovens in it but no Miele. Might be a clue there. What model number are you looking at?

The Miele model I've been looking at is H5240. The Neff model is B45C42N0GB. Interestingly enough, even though the Miele isn't a best buy (possibly because of price) on the Which site, there's a review of the Neff and it says how tests showed that although it says 66L capacity (not net), a lot of unusable, which actually brings the space down to 37 (or thereabouts) capacity...

I'm surprised the ovens are so small

I recently got a Cannon Harrogate dual-fuel because I prefer cookers and DP likes Cannon, we both prefer a gas hob. It has a 36 and a 69 litre oven.

I'm not especially impressed by the space in those single built-in ovens.

You wouldn't have a built-in double in a tower?

No - not going to have a tower. Thought about it but decided I wanted a stretch of work surface more. Plus, I've never been that impressed by doubles - the smallest always seems a bit pointless.

I've emailed Neff and Miele to ask about their ovens. We shall see
