Fitted Bed room colour & price

We just got quotes from sharps for our wardrobe - 2900£ (including bed side table, and a small chest drawer)!! John Levis also gave us the similar price. Has anyone done fitted bedroom. if so what are the current rates? We think its toooo much!!!

We are also confused about which colour to choose...white/dark walnut or pine?? we like white as our bedroom is small but not sure how it will look after few years...

Note that IKEA PAX doesnt fit in our wardrobe....

Wow, that's expensive! I'd be tempted to get a local carpenter to quote for building some fitted wardrobes but then personally I've never been a fan of the kind of things you get in shops. I had a wall of lovely floor-to-ceiling, handle-less fitted cupboards made for our master bedroom for a lot less than that, and had the doors spray-painted to match the colour on the walls.
