Has anyone got an Oak kitchen with light granite worktops?

And if so what colour did you choose? My head is spinning with granite/quartz images!!!

Looking at Kashmir White, Ivory silk etc...want something not too swirly or dark..

We have a painted kitchen in 'elephants breath' with an oak island. Our granite is grey and speckled and looks stunning, its called bianco sardo

Sorry to hijack, but Sixties queen, your kitchen sounds lovely, can I ask where you got your painted kitchen from? Am going to google bianco sardo, sounds like the colour I am after.

Have looked at quartz but some seen too plain....arghhh!

WOW sixties your kitchen looks amazing!!! The pattern seems nowhere near as busy as i'd thought. Fabulous!!!!

Thanks Mollie - not sure if it's not too brown for me. I'm such a fussy bugger!! I'm getting stressed out by it - such as huge decision isn't it, and an expensive one.

Have been to another place this morning and have some quartz samples - blanco Maple, Mont Blanc, Stellar blanco and stellar crema - will be going with one of those i think

They're not as bright white as they appear online!

Really?!? These samples online are rubbish though. I've been to more places now, think we're going with a white-ish quartz. Just which one out of many to choose from!!!
