How do you store games consoles etc (& avoid mass of wires)??

Currently got an old X box in playroom with little TV and planning on Santa bringing a Wii. It already looks a mess, with a mass of wires on the floor and the console generally just left on the floor too. Obviously need to store it all out of the way and wondered if anyone has any recommendations for storage that would fit in a playroom. Thx

We have a wii and that tend to stay put on the stand that it comes with as it is quite heavy. The remotes and games go everywhere and drive me mad but I do have a really useful box with lid and i insist that they put it all back in there when finished (racing wheels, extra bits etc). All this is on a console sideboard thing from ikea with wires all going down back to plug. Games on a nearby shelf. We also have a recharging station that the remotes sit in which is quite good as I refuse to buy them batteries so they are motivated to put the remotes in it when finished so will work next time want to play. I also bought a couple of Mario remote holder things for the nunchuks etc. All this goes on on top of the console sideboard thing and, tbh, the only stuff that gets strewn around are the actual games.

i have seen this www.aplaceforeverything.co.uk/home-storage/plastic-storage-box-gamers & thinking of getting that for dh gaming stuff as the wires are all disorganised in a drawer at the moment
the consoles themselves we just have on the tv stand with the v+ box etc
