Best scrubbable paint

Have agreed with landlord that we can re-decorate the new place. With DD, a dog and a cat I'd like paint that actually wipes/scrubs clean.

Do any of the washable paints actually work??

We're on a budget so looking at the likes of B&Q, Dulux, Crown etc. rather than F&B.

If makes any difference I want a cream type colour.

Thanks

diamond, think it's by dulux but not cheap though.

Thanks, just googles it and it looks good. Sadly the cost may be a but much as the room is 30' by 13' so expecting a lot of paint!

homebase duracoat (own brand) is good

my DDs bedroom is done in it and you would not believe what I have washed off her walls Xmas Hmm

Dont use crown paint. I used about 5x as much as I did when I switched to Dulux. Was strapped for cash but crown was a false economy.

Defo Dulux diamond matt - have my hall done in it and everything just scrubs out

PogoBob · 04/12/2011 22:54

Thanks all, will avoid crown and take a look at homebase. will look at the dulux diamond in the hallway which is slightly smaller Grin

Have just scrubbed my hallway and lounge again today we have the dulux and it is FAB! Used it in the kitchen too. It really does do what it says on the tin!

Dulux Endurance is absolutely wonderful

Be warned: if you want to paint over endurance paint in the future it is a complete nightmare as everything just comes off.
