I have a hoover washer dryer, 7 years old.
It's started making a really loud noise (like a jet engine taking off) when it spins, its really loud whenever the drum rotates. There is also a clanging noise like something has come loose and is banging against something.
It was suggested that the bearings have gone, does this sound about right? Does it sound like its worth repairing?
Oh and there is also alot of movement in the drum, I can move it back and forwards and up and down.
I'm guessing this is Not A Good Thing. Especially with dc with d&v bug, and a huge pile of sheets to wash
