and we're going away for the weekend & leaving the keys with the agents. But I just wondered - normally we put the Christmas decorations up on the 1st for the kids, but should we put them up or not? It's never really much more than the tree and a bit of tinsel on the mantelpiece and piano, but I'm not sure whether we should or not? On the one hand, it might be seen as clutter, on the other it might show them how you can have a 6ft tree in the room and it not really affect the space? Will it make a difference, do you reckon?

I wouldn't but then again I think 1st is far to early for trees and decorations.

Do not put them up.
It just makes the buyers think that it is your house, not theirs.
It reminds them of the stress of Christmas, and who wants to move then?

true - I think we've decided we'll do it afterwards now, but thanks for replies - it's always so lovely to get some kind of confirmation that you're doing the right thing! :o
