Hi!

If anyone has any ideas for paint colours/wall stickers/accessories for my 12 month old son's room I'd really appreciate it.

I'm going for a vehicle theme, but more along the line of hot air ballons and biplanes than fire engines and trucks, if that makes sense.

I have purchased these: Laura Ashley quilt and Cath Kidston cot quilt.

His room has a single bed in it (for breastfeeding and reading stories until he is big enough to sleep in it) and an Ikea cot that he;s currently in. Its a small double size. Finally it has low level birch Ikea Expedit shelving in it with fabric boxes, books and toys on display.

Any ideas on colours for the walls, curtains, rugs, cushions or anything else like that to make it seem special for him? Or, OK for me, as he's still to little to care!

Many thanks in advance.

It may be worth waiting until you find out what vehicles he loves to play with - some little boys love trains others cars. If you can incorporate this into the theme he will love it. By 18mths many little boys know what they love and sometimes it isn't what you set your heart

We got some really good transport prints from herewww.art.co.ukYou can also try www.etsy.com good for one of pieces
I would go for very retro colors blue walls with maybe red/green stripes.
I would keep the curtains plain then you can always just change them up.
