best company for blinds

wondering who people use as would liek to get blinds done in my new house

What sort of blinds? We had fab roman blinds done by Hillary's many years ago.

Am leaning towards roman/ black out blinds then posdibily curtains as extra warmth and to hide that akward light GAp

Would need someone to fit them to . As am unable to do them ( use a wheelchair z)

But also need option for privacy in the day as am not overkeen on nets bit because downstairs be open plan want the illusion of privacy at least

It really depends on how much you want to spend. If you want a measure service, you can pay £50 for someone from JL to come and measure and give you advice and that £50 is redeemable against any blinds you then order with them, JL will also offer a fitting service and I think it costs around £55 or £75 an hour so depends on how long the job gets done... You do get quality and service with JL but it's £££££!

Alternatively you can get a friend to come and measure the window(s) for you and order made to measure blinds off ebay for a fraction of the price and then pay a handyman (my local handyman charges £20/hour or £120 all day) to come and fit it for you.

It's all how much you are willing to pay and how much hassle you are willing to go through! I've used JL for the measuring and making service and I cannot fault their service. I did baulk at their fitting costs and got my handyman to do it for me... The lady they sent was so knowledgeable and gave me advice on my other windows as well that I am going to attempt an ebay job next to save some money! :)
