Freshly decorated bedroom paint cracked! Not happy. :(

We had decorators in to paint the first bedroom. They finished at lunch time today. When they left the room looked fab but just gone in now & the paint is cracked everywhere

Do we get the decorators back in to sort it out, any idea why it's cracked almost immediately? I was so looking forward to having this room out of the way so we could start on the next one & this has just bloody annoyed me.

I've seen this happen where matt paint has been used on top of silk. Could this be what's happened?

Not sure what paint was on it before, the decorator did put a high opacity primer on the Walls first as it was dark purple and we've changed it to light green.

So if it is because matt has gone on silk what's the cure?

If it's had a primer on then I can't imagine that it's to do with the purple paint. A quick Google suggests it can sometimes happen when a second layer of paint has been applied before the first has properly dried. I would definitely get the decorators back in to sort it out - something has most certainly gone wrong somewhere!
