Boiler Breakdown Cover - which one?

Boring I know but I'm looking into home emergency/boiler breakdown cover and am completely flummoxed by what's on the market compared with what I need...

What have you all got? And do you need it all?

We've had our own home for about 12 years and never got round to getting 'emergency' cover.

Had a new boiler put in a couple fo years ago and feel that it would be worth paying for the breakdown cover - but do we need all the other household emergency stuff that they try and sell you?

Is just bog standard boiler breakdown cover ok? Do we actually need central heating over? Emergency pipe cover? Broken window cover?

Help.....

I don't think you need it, especially if the boiler's only 2 years old, and you certainly don't need all the other stuff that they sell you along with the boiler cover. Can you find someone local who will service it and also come out if something goes wrong? It will almost certainly work out cheaper than paying wretched British Gas or whoever monthly.
