Anyone own a home in France and let in for holiday lets?

Thinking about buying somewhere, probably in Normandy, but maybe Limousin and wondered how easy you find it to let - and how you let it.

I am interested in knowing how it is done, as well. We have a house in France and have finally finished the renovation. Just painting and decorating left now. We are considering doing holiday lets during summer but not sure how to manage long distance. Especially making sure the cleaning is done to a really professional standard.
