Not after shortbread tin kitsch but a natural neutral coloured tartan carpet for stairs and landings. Everything I've seen is v.expensive, Ulster Carpets (£77.50 pre sqm) Brintons and Axminster and Whitestone Weavers around £50-60 per sqm. I just think that despite being laughed out the door of my local Carpetright. that there must be cheap ones out there too. Not so bothered about wool content. Googled tartan / plaid /check but found nothing. Can anyone save me some money by pointing me in the right direction?
